Working directly with communities to identify and address their unique STEM education needs and goals.
Interactive workshops and programs that make STEM concepts accessible and engaging for all learners.
At Fulton Innovation Labs (FIL), we believe every student deserves the chance to build, create, and discover what they're capable of. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the Atlanta metro area, we design hands-on engineering and problem-solving experiences for neurodiverse students and learners of all abilities and ages. Our programs are thoughtfully adapted to different learning styles, so STEM isn't just something students try once, but something they grow with over time.
Measurable outcomes in student engagement\ and academic performance in STEM fields.
Comprehensive, age-appropriate programs designed to spark curiosity and build
foundational skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for all learners
Founded on the belief that quality science education should be accessible to all, we work tirelessly to expand opportunities in communities nationwide
The people behind FIL aren't just passionate about STEM - they've competed and won at the highest levels of Science Olympiad, including a 2024 National Champion title in Air Trajectory, multiple podium finishes at Nationals, and numerous championship finishes at the state level. That same championship experience is what they now share with students who'd otherwise never have access to a coach.
Many communities lack access to quality science education resources and opportunities, creating gaps that affect innovation, economic mobility, and societal progress. By expanding access to these critical learning experiences, we're not just changing individual lives, we're strengthening our entire community.
1 in 5
Roughly one in five U.S. children are estimated to be neurodivergent — a difference in how they learn, not in their ability.
7.5 million
The number of students served under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act grew to 7.5 million in 2022–23 — about 15% of all public school enrollment.
